Intro to Web Design/Dev: HTML5 & CSS

During this class, students will learn how to augment websites with HTML5, and CSS3, taking advantage of semantics and standards to produce experiences that work well across a multiplicity of devices.

You'll need a laptop, as we'll all be working on our own markup/styles for our own unique sites. We don't have the venue nailed down yet, but we'll update once that happens.

I'm very much a student of web standards, accessibility, and performance web design, so my focus will be on how to deliver a well-planned architecture to meet business goals. My background is NOT academic, I'm essentially completely self-taught. What I'd like to present is the strategies I use to make paying clients happy, while also delivering portfolio-worthy work.

Our focus will be fairly basic- markup and styles that render well across devices. A secondary focus will be on scripting and interaction to enhance the basic experience in those devices that support it- otherwise known as Responsive Web Design (or maybe Adaptive Web Design).

One hour is not a lot of time with which to work, so we'll be moving quickly, and 'getting our feet wet' so to speak. If there's an interest in advanced classes, we can certainly try to make that happen as well.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests- I may not be able to accommodate everything, but I'll do my best. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I'm a student of mastery myself, but having implemented a few production sites in HTML5/CSS3/jQuery, I've definitely had a chance to see what works and what doesn't, as well as what really matters to the client!

For being a good web developer you have to learn all these basics languages first. I choose dissertation writing services where I found all the courses free and I practice it after a lot of reading.
